Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team based in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who enjoys preparing reports, working with numbers, and analysing data to provide insights to stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will work closely with both the local and global finance teams. This is a full-time position within our Finance team.
Desired Skills and Experience
Your skills and experience:
Preparation of monthly reporting formats, including monthly analysis, budgets and forecasts.
Supporting the development and maintenance of financial models and reporting tools and contribute to automation and process improvements.
Preparation of consolidated budgets, forecasts and multi-year plans.
Analysing variances between actuals and budgets/forecasts by strongly collaborating with all relevant stakeholders and preparing commentary on group performance.
Delivering management and board reporting, including dashboards and KPI’s.
Partnering with Finance and business stakeholders to support reporting, planning and performance discussions.
Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field; progress toward CA/CPA/CFA valued.
Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
