Job Description

About the Role: 

Our CAD Draftsperson is responsible for developing concepts and producing CAD models and drawings to enable them to be manufactured to support completion of a number of engineering and building projects. The work entails obtaining accurate measurements, producing high‑quality 3D CAD models, and fabrication drawings. You’ll work closely with our Maintenance team and wider business to turn concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions. This is a full-time, contract role based in Mount Barker, South Australia.

Desired Skills and Experience

Your skills and experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, or demonstrated equivalent capability.
  • Strong 3D CAD proficiency (Inventor or Fusion preferred) with the ability to create, read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production and packaging equipment, ideally within FMCG.
  • Understanding of GMP requirements and commitment to quality, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent computer skills, including data manipulation and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Able to manage competing priorities, work independently and maintain a positive, proactive approach.
  • Strong communication skills and a reliable, team‑focused work ethic.
