Job Description

About the Role: 

Our Farm Tour Guide & Retail Shop Assistants are responsible for providing a unique and immersive experience to all Farm visitors and tourists, grounded in the Jurlique Vision, Purpose and Values. The perfect candidate will be an integral and reliable member of the Herb Farm Team, be flexible enough to work in a number of different areas and complete other tasks as instructed from time to time. Due to business growth we have two casual positions available, guiding guests on tours on Saturdays, Sundays and some weekdays. The ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is highly valued.

Role Responsibilities:
As the ‘face’ of the Jurlique Herb Farm, you will:
•    Ensure Tour guests feel welcomed and comfortable whilst undertaking a Farm Tour
•    Ensure the safety of guests during tours
•    Conduct Farm Tours for public, internal staff and VIPs when required
•    Conduct retail sales in Farm Shop when required

Desired Skills and Experience

Your skills and experience:

  • Prior tour guiding experience preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds and demographics
  • Warm, engaging personality
  • A background or passion for horticulture is an advantage
  • Retail sales experience highly regarded
  • First Aid certificate a bonus
